We need all sorts of people to volunteer to make Solano County Mini Maker Faire happen and we hope you will be one of those individuals. Every volunteer gets a free pass to the event and a free t-shirt while they last!

We are looking for the following types of volunteers, but if you can help in any way please fill out our volunteer form.

Planning Team:

Regional Representative – Someone who will make connections in other communities outside of Benicia. They may need to put up posters, hand out flyers, talk to the local school district or recruit sponsors.

Area Coordinator – This person will be responsible to coordinate a certain area of the event and be the “go-to” person to assist our makers in any way they need.

Event Team:

Registration and check-in – Help scan tickets, take money and make sure no-one slips through the back door.

Core Booth Staff – Volunteer will help staff one of the following booths: Learn To Solder, Paper Rockets, Fabric Hack Zone, Nerdy Derby, Tear It Apart, etc.

Setup/Tear down – We need help on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday to help setup tables, run cables, put up banners, etc.

I am interested in volunteering in the registration area, all I would love to help promoting this event in anyway I can. Really anywhere you need help in those areas. I love getting involved and planning events. I do have some limits as far as lifting heavy things but that is about it. I have really been wanting to get more involved with community, I got on this E something site and have found a lot of different things to start getting invoked in. I really hope you give me the opportunity to be part of your event.
    Thank you
