New Name

We have some exciting news to share … Benicia Mini Maker Faire is now known as Solano County Mini Maker Faire and the name is not the only thing that is changing. This year we are scaling our event up to include the entire county and beyond. We are excited to have a broader platform to be able to bring in makers and exhibitors from across the region to inspire and entertain attendees with our unique brand of hands-on learning and DIY spirit.

New Location And Time

We will be moving our event to the Solano County Fairgrounds and we will be an official part of the Solano County Fair this year. We are also moving from a single day format to a two-day event to coincide with the County Fair. This will give attendees a choice of two days which will help make it more accessible to families and individuals with busy summer schedules. The event will take place on Saturday June 30th and Sunday July 1st from 10am – 6pm both days.

New Lower Ticket Prices

We have always tried to keep ticket prices affordable so that as many people as possible could enjoy the Faire. This year we are pleased to announce that we will be cutting our ticket price by over 50% down to $6/person. Tickets will be sold at the door on Saturday and Sunday. We will also be offering coupons and other opportunities to bring that cost down even further for individuals in need or large families. We hope this allows greater access to even more people to take advantage of all the things to learn and do at the Faire.

Sign Up To Exhibit Now!

You can sign up to show off your project or product at the event by clicking on the blue button above and filling our exhibitor form. There is no cost to exhibit if you are individual showing off your project and only a small fee for commercial exhibitors. The goal is to bring our community together so we can all learn from each other and we highly encourage a hands-on activity as part of your exhibit where possible.

We hope you are as excited as we are about this news. We can’t wait to see what people will bring to the Faire this year. It will take plenty of volunteers to help pull this off. If you are interested in helping with the planning committee or volunteering at the event please reach out and let us know!

Is this at a separate location and entrance at the fairgrounds than the area that the Solano County Fair is in?

We will be located inside the Fair in the Expo Hall. Other than $5 parking fee, there is no entry fee for the County Fair itself. Our event charges a small fee ($6/person) to experience the Mini Maker Faire which helps defray our costs. Any additional proceeds will be donated to a local non-profit.
